Here we go, finally a topic that feels like I’ve been familiar with since I can remember. But that’s because there are so many outbreak movies out there, so many zombie-apocalypses t entertain our thirst. Here are my three picks for this week’s topic.
Most definitely the hardest topic this month is the combination of sci-fi and horror. The thing is, I like science-fiction, I think it’s one of my favorite genres because most of my favorite movies are categorized as sci-fi these days. But, as most of you probably know already, horror is not my thing, so the […]
This week features no aliens, no zombies, no vampires and no werewolves – so that pretty much leaves all those horror movies with scary creatures I really don’t watch. But I have seen some very good ghosts over the years, and one creature pops into my head as well, so lucky for me, I could […]
It’s October!! And October means Halloween! For me, it isn’t a holiday I’ve ever really celebrated, since it wasn’t apart of my childhood here in Estonia. But hey, I can celebrate Halloween if I want to, so I’m celebrating it with all these Halloween related recommendations this month.
This week’s my movie picks are weird. Like, there is one very popular and highly loved recommendation, there’s an indie recommendation that should be known to most, and then there’s a teen-flick with supernatural powers and Sebastian Stan. Yes, that’s what I said, weird, right?
This month is focusing around school and college, and teen angst is well connected to both those topics. But since angst itself is a something that can happen outside education, I’ve selected movies that have more to do with teenagers and less to do with school.
I miss being a student a lot these days. It was a lot easier back then, and I felt like I had a specific goal to achieve. But enough about that, here are a few of those college movies that have entertained me with some laughs. PS: This week’s topic is actually the topic I posted […]
Another week, another Thursday Movie Pick, and since this week’s topic is quite similar to last week, I had a bit of a challenge on my hand. But do not be afraid, luckily enough, we have all those comedies that take place in college to choose from.
I love war movies! There are just so cruel, honest, heartbreaking and horrible, and I’m always surprised how emotinal they make me. So this week’s Thursday Movie Picks were easy, and I didn’t have to wreck my brain for these well-known movies at all.
Here I am, commiting to something that is (hopefully) permanent… Every Thursday I will be posting a list of movie recommentations following the topics by the creator of this series, Wandering Through the Shelves. This week’s topic, as seen from the title, is movies in the Scandinavian language and not going to lie, I’m pretty sure […]
