Top 10 Books That I Liked A Bit More As Movies

I’m starting this week off by bringing you ten book to movie adaptations that I thought worked wonderfully. All these books are okay, some are actually very good, but others simply aren’t as strong. The point of the Top 10 list is that the movies were better than books. Yes, I love some adaptations a bit more than the books and that is rare. By the way, I’ve been reading less books lately, so if you have any recommendations to me (to get out of the reading slump) feel free to leave those in the comments!

Top 5 HBO Shows To Watch During Self-Quarantine

Well, how about these eventful times, eh? Anyone feeling anxious, panicked, worried – well, you’re definitely not alone. The corona pandemic has made its way to almost every country. Including mine, Estonia, which is super tiny with only 1,3 million people and has already over 200 infected (as we know of). Statistically we are not doing so great. Thankfully I have the option to work from home but I can just imagine how stressful it is for those who can’t go to work right now. Sending you all the best and let’s just stay healthy and get this virus contained! In the light of these events and being stuck at home for a while (as if I don’t do that on a regular basis), I decided to share my current favourite HBO shows. Everyone’s been loving on Netflix but HBO deserves some love too!

It Chapter Two (2019)

It’s been a hot minute since I sat down and wrote a review. It has been so long I feel like I don’t even know how and where to begin. Luckily, everything worked out well, and I actually managed to finish four books, and start the fifth before the month ended.

Commercial Break #79

Images from Tumblr.

Part of me feels I wasted two whole weeks of vacation on nothing. I didn’t write any reviews, I didn’t finish reading Stephen King’s It, and I watched mostly shitty movies and binge watched one show. As you can see, I had no grand adventures nor trips during the past two weeks, and now that I’m on sick leave, I doubt I’ll manage to climb any hills any time soon. But if my hills are reviews, then I might manage to tackle a few of them this upcoming week.

Commercial Break #78

Images from Tumblr.

Since my last Commercial Break I’ve gone through a huge emotional roller coaster and it hasn’t been nice. Though now that I’ve enjoyed my vacation for almost a week I feel like things are slowly getting better but I’m still an emotional wreck. Nothing seems to be helping either, books, movies, shows, not to mention, writing. But I’m hanging in there, trying to be strong and not think negative thoughts, especially considering what this week is going to be like for me.
