This week’s theme is quite subjective so I’ll be surprised if there’ll be any matches. But then again, I’ve matched with weirder themes so I can’t state this with complete confidence. That being said this week’s theme took me a while to pin down because confusion can be approached differently. But movies don’t necessarily confuse me in a good way. Being confused is essentially about having a negative feeling about the movie. So is this week just my excuse to throw hate on some movies? Definitely! So don’t expect anything good from these “recommendations”. It’s basically a huge STAY AWAY post.
The fact that we can’t go on a girls’ trip right at this very moment is sad… That feeling of being cooped up and not having the option to go anywhere without feeling anxious is constant – it’s pretty fucked up. So much so that instead of good movies this week, I’m recommending you bad ones. Cause honestly, I could not think about the good girls’ trip movies at this moment. It would be too sad. Common for all these, IMDb rates them below 5, and they are all rotten on Rotten Tomatoes. Yes, these are that bad!
It has come to my attention that the year 2017 has almost hit its mid-point and with that in mind, I figured I’d recap what has happened movie wise this year so far. This post is inspired by the popular Mid-Year Book Freak Out tag that I’ve seen around in the book community but since I’m still all about being a movie blogger at heart, I decided to turn it into a Midyear Movie Madness instead. So this is a post that will recap the last 6 months of 2017 in terms of movies, and to make things more interesting, I’m only sticking to movies I saw in the theater!
There are a few spoilers ahead, you’ve been warned.
No, it’s not a mistake, what you’re seeing is the first review on Mettel Ray that is given, or better yet, not given a rating. That’s right, there isn’t a coffee cup under the image above, because this movie gets no coffee cups from me! None! It doesn’t even deserve a half a cup of coffee that I gave it on Letterboxd because I was feeling generous. Meaning, I hate Snatched more than I hate Fifty Shades of Grey and Fifty Shades Darker combined because at least the latter made me laugh!
