It’s been another hot minute since the last Commercial Break. I’ve been somewhat off-center with my time management lately and kept pushing writing into tomorrow’s duties. Now it’s been three weeks, most of January is gone and it feels like I’m rusty again. No worries though, it was all part of a plan. Because Commercial Break will from now be a monthly feature. Why? Well, let me explain…
Look what we have here, another Commercial Break, and just a week after the previous one! Your girl is improving her blogging skills and getting used to the time management stuff. Though, still no reviews but I promise, I’m on a mission to get at least 5 written by next week!
It’s been another hot minute since I last posted a Commercial Break but I’m determined to keep this feature up and running. Hopefully I figure out a better alternative for 2019, because it’s clear that keeping these weekly posts going might not the best solution. But, it’s still 2018, and there’s no time to waste – here’s what’s been happening.
Like promised, here is the second part of the recap that brings you all the shows and books I consumed during my break. Needless to say, I don’t think I remember everything I saw during this little absence of mine. Didn’t keep a list, only reviewed one show, so who knows what I will forget to mention. Also, I didn’t read much but I did discover a few good songs and had one good oldie on repeat. As per usual, there are also links at the very end.
It’s November?!? Oh how the time flies. Especially when one takes a somewhat unexpected sort of a (but not really) break from blogging. But breaks are important. Breaks allow us to recharge, regroup and re-energise our lives. So I’m hoping to be a bit more lively in November, even though I have a super busy month ahead. But I had a feeling I needed to bring back Commercial Break today!
It’s been another two weeks of summer since I last wrapped up my week. And I honestly can’t remember what I have been doing. There has been a lot of work and reading happening. I’ve also binged a show. But mostly, it’s just me suffering the heatwave that is happening here in Estonia. While counting the days until my vacation starts – this Friday!
Last week was a walk in the park – which means I had two days of work (both quite busy and long), and then a whole lot of time to spend. Most of that time was spent on books, which I’m not mad at. I also watched two shows and a movie. So, a pretty decent but a bit of a boring week.
I’m alive. Yet it feels like after last week, and the silence on this blog, I might have been somewhat unconscious while working my butt off. With so much work cramped into just a single week, I feel like I didn’t accomplish nothing these past few weeks. But still, I did, which either means that I don’t give myself enough credit, or I can do things in my sleep.
The incredible feature image is by Luna Roveda.
What started off as a slow and disappointing week, ended with me being sick, reading a book, finishing my work, and perving out to a movie with Chris Evans. So all in all, I would say it was a good week. This one, oh but this one, is going to be a hell of a week for me… and us… and all the Marvel fans – it’s Infinity War Week!!
Just when I thought I was out of the hole, I get dragged back into the dark pit of fangirling. In other words, while trying to get everything ready before the deadlines dropped, the girls on Twitter kindly shoved Chris Evans into my face. Not that I mind, it’s just… it’s distracting, that’s what it is. Painfully and annoyingly distracting, just like that image abo…
