As mentioned last week, I sort of completely failed my reading challenge for this year, and I won’t be trying to do any TBR’s in the near future. That’s just not for me. But I do want to keep up with reading wrap ups and this one is the first of 2018. I didn’t read much, and my reading tempo has been on the slower side so far, but I’m keeping up and enjoying myself – which is all that matters.
Here we go, I’m sharing my first attempt to stick to an actual TBR that I’ve decided on beforehand. It’s not something I’ve ever been good at, setting a specific reading goal for a month but it’s a new year and a new me! I hope I get to the end of the month with a smile on my face, and I hope I won’t be disappointing myself by not following through these TBR’s. But with no further ado, here’s my TBR pile for the month of January!
It’s 2018 and I’m starting the year off strong, with posts scheduled until Friday! That’s right, I’m going to blog the shit out of 2018 and there’s going to be a few new resolutions happening as well. So take a look what I have planned for this year!
Like for many, Gilmore Girls holds a special place in my heart. I remember binge watching almost the entire series in just weeks, and then rewatching it for those special moments all over again. I cried and laughed with the characters, I rooted for all of them, and like most of us, was devastated when it all ended too soon. Now, years later, we finally had the chance to see it all come to an end in a different way, in a way that would satisfy our hearts. The hearts we had given to those two amazing characters over the years. The hearts that were left a little broken in 2007. The hearts that begged for just a little bit more.
All is right in the world, and Gilmore Girls finally gets a chance to tie up loose ends properly! I’m far more thrilled about this than I have been about any other revival on TV since this trend started. I can’t wait to see all four 90 minute episode-movies with all the familiar faces! To hear that typical Gilmore banter, to cry because I know I will, and to smile with pure happiness. All’s good in the world! But I still have some expectations, and here are five things that absolutely need to happen during the revival.
