It’s in the reach of my arms, the span of my hips, the stride of my step, the curl of my lips.
I’m a woman. Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman.
Last week I took it a little easier in the Sam Rockwell front, because I just couldn’t handle more of him without loosing my mind. But I did end up watching three of his movies on Sunday, after I had finally finished three seasons of a show that I really liked. In other words, my second and last week (I can’t stay home longer, it’s unhealthy plus I need to interact with actual people) of sick leave was definitely less productive but it was still enjoyable.
Last week was weird, and by weird, I mean horrible and shit but wonderful at the same time. Lower back pain is no fun at all, and even while sitting and not moving much, it hurts and you are constantly feeling discomfort. Meanwhile though, I spent my days watching movies with Sam Rockwell, and doing some light-reading, so it was actually like an enjoyable discomfort..?
Last week was another successful blogging adventure, and I couldn’t be happier about it. I had a short work week, but I did have to do other work-related stuff on the weekend, so I still didn’t have much free time on my hands. That’s were my newly found organisational skills come in handy. Girl has been scheduling posts like a madwoman, and honestly, I’m more surprised that you are, that I have pulled it off for two weeks now. I’m surely going to mess up soon.
That is hell of a title for this week’s Thursday Movie Picks and to be completely honest, I’m leaving this to the last minute possible. I literally have an hour (in my time zone) to get this up on the blog so you should be certain that these three movies are the first ones to pop into my head in regards to this week’s theme. By the way, all of them are in my all time sequel wishlist movies, which is a list I didn’t know I had but apparently I do, so here it is.
There’s a certain likability to Keira Knightley that I’ve encountered numerous times in her period films, but not so much when the plot is happening in the present because she kept doing period films! Atonement, Pride & Prejudice, Pirates of the Caribbean to name a few up until the past few years when she was finally allowed into the 21st century with Seeking a Friend at the End of the World, Begin Again and now, Laggies.
