Way back in February, when I had a lot of time on my hands, I wrapped up January like a champ. Then, I sort of forgot about it and now I’m bringing the wrap up back. In other words, I’m wrapping up the entire month of June – from movies to shows to books to songs! With a bit of commentary on each of the things I saw, read and listened, and links to possible reviews and such. So take a look at everything I experienced in June, and apparently, there was a lot!
As promised a while ago, I’m going to try and put out more content related to television shows. I have been watching a lot of shows, like a lot! Yet I haven’t been keeping up with sharing those binge-worthy experiences here on my blog. So may it be a whole season, or the entire show, I’m hereby sharing 10 shows that I recently indulged on thanks to Netflix.
Well, for some the waiting and spoiler-avoiding is over, we have seen Infinity War and our verdict is in. For me, what felt like the most up-and-down week in 2018 so far, I felt a bit underwhelmed by the latest Marvel entry. I even cheated a little on Captain America with Thor, but let’s not dwell on that too long.
Yes, it is Tuesday. Yes, I usually post Commercial Breaks on Monday but not this week. Partly because I totally overbooked myself on Monday and didn’t have time. Also because I didn’t have anything to write yesterday, but now I do!
Last week, right after I launched my very own blog address (if you haven’t yet updated my blog address on your blogrolls, please do, it’s mettelray.com now!), I took a small break. Despite that, I still posted on Thursday, as I always do, and shared a very special post on Saturday. During that, I had flashbacks to my 1000th post and honestly, still my most craziest post I’ve ever done! Anyway, here are my thoughts from last week.
Last week I took it a little easier in the Sam Rockwell front, because I just couldn’t handle more of him without loosing my mind. But I did end up watching three of his movies on Sunday, after I had finally finished three seasons of a show that I really liked. In other words, my second and last week (I can’t stay home longer, it’s unhealthy plus I need to interact with actual people) of sick leave was definitely less productive but it was still enjoyable.
Last week was another successful blogging adventure, and I couldn’t be happier about it. I had a short work week, but I did have to do other work-related stuff on the weekend, so I still didn’t have much free time on my hands. That’s were my newly found organisational skills come in handy. Girl has been scheduling posts like a madwoman, and honestly, I’m more surprised that you are, that I have pulled it off for two weeks now. I’m surely going to mess up soon.
Some of you might have already guessed it but I’m putting it out there – May is Mettel Ray’s birthday month! That’s right, the whole month will be filled with posts and events and though I haven’t been preparing like I had planned, I’m still going forward with the whole idea. And trust me, I’ve planned quite the month for you guys starting with a fun blogathon!
Had nothing special planned for the final post of the year and therefore this post comes to you in a sort of a regular post kind of way. Just a post, no new year resolutions, no end of the year conclusions, just a simple, 2500 word post! Yes, that’s right, this post is possibly the longest thing ever and you might need to prepare yourself a coffee because you’ll need the extra energy.
Anyway, since I dedicated a post to all the new TV-shows premiering in the fall, I figured it would be a great idea to do the same for the upcoming winter & spring season. Little did I know that there are so many new shows coming that my brain hurts just by thinking about it. Nevertheless, here’s the full list of upcoming goodness, badness and the uncertainties.
