Thursday Movie Picks: Secret Doorways / Worlds

There is a sense of whimsy about this week’s theme and I love it! Secret doorways and worlds are mostly fantasy related to me and I adore fantasy! True, the book genre is more successful compared to the movie genre but that’s okay. For this week I’ve found three recommendations about secret doorways and/or worlds that I consider mediocre. It’s not that they are bad, they just… haven’t been made with care. Ironically, all three have a 5.8 or 5.9 rating on IMDb so they truly are mediocre.

Happy New Year fellow bloggers and readers! 2017 has finally arrived, and though some posted their best and worst of 2016 last year, some, like me, are taking their time to reflect, contemplate and fuss over these things a little while longer. I for one was certain I was going to watch or read at least one great movie or an amazing book to shake up my 2016 list which sort of happened, but not really. February Reading Wrap Up

february reading wrap upBehold, another successful reading month has passed and I’m now ready to pick up heavier reads in March because I’m ahead of schedule! Meaning, I’m on track to read 60 books in 2016 (oh yeah!). So, anyways, in the month of February, I finished seven books in total: one was a quick read, one a re-read, and one a little heavier read among the much lighter books I picked up this month.
