This is the 7th year of Against the Crowd Blogtahon created by Dell on Movies. I’m participating for the 6th time since I missed 2018 because I am a dumb-dumb. But I’m doing this year and eagerly going against the crowd once again.
For multiple years, I have taken part in Dell’s Against the Crowd Blogathon. Last year, because I completely blanked out about it, I missed it. This year I’m participating again because this is one fun blogathon! The idea is to pick one movie that everyone loves but you dislike, and vice versa. To go against the crowd! I’ve traditionally picked romance movies to defend so this year won’t be any different. It’s also a bit sad that I have so many romance movies up my sleeve at this point. There seems to be a lot of hate for them, even the good ones. So it’s not surprising this genre has dwindled over the years.
Another year, another Against the Crowd Blogathon hosted by Dell on Movies (and co-hosted by KG’s Movie Rants) and there’s not chance I’m going to miss this one! Last year was a close call, I discovered it almost at the last minute but still made the deadline. This year, I’m more prepared and I even asked if it was happening before they announced it! Yes, I was that eager to participate! For those who are new here, Against the Crowd is a special blogathon for me because it’s the one I’ve participated every year since it started – I am that dedicated for it! So let’s get going, first the rules and then the two picks I decided to either argue against or defend for!
Another year, another opportuinity to participate in the Against the Crowd Blogathon – something that has become sort of a tradition here on Mettel Ray AND I almost missed it this year! But as luck would have it, I didn’t actually miss the deadline that’s on the 26th of August, so I got enough time to gather my thoughts to express two movie opinions that go against the masses.
Last year, on July 15th I participated in this very same blogathon and I enjoyed it a lot.. so why not return a year and a month later to do the same. Dell on Movies returns to his great idea and asks us to go against the masses and hate something everyone loves and vice versa. So, obviously since I love to hate things, I’m taking this year’s Against the Crowd Blogathon extremely seriously!
