December was an amazing month for me with some great numbers and awesome memories, including memories outside the blog. But with no further rambling, let’s get to the numbers of December, 2012 – almost the best month of 2012!
Numbers: 140,000+ all time views, 8,730 views, 282 average per day, 18 posts
Almost a New Record: Almost beating the monthly views record, missed it by 64 views
Summary: Regarding my plans for December (to wrap up my blogathon) I think I succeeded, as well as getting some good TOP 10 posts out there. What I did not expect was actually coming up with a new rating system and watching my favorite movie of the year, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, all in one month. Therefore, the month was a success and a good end to the year, almost breaking the monthly record and putting an end to my pain of trying to mind-control people into coming to my blog so I could get 80,000 views for this year in total! Something that worked so well that during the week before Christmas, the views went up by 75% and I got 80,000 before the deadline! Getting also a great, close to 500 views, day out of it all made me smile as well.
What I was proud of: Getting to a 1,000 comments despite the fact that half of them are mine.
What I was mad about: That I had neglected LMS and BOT for so long.. and didn’t comment as much as I wanted in other people’s blogs.
What’s gonna happen in January: Starting fresh but with a system of trying to schedule things more, have a bit of a posting structure going on. Getting some LMS posts out there, BOT needs to be brought back to life. Going to catch up with A LOT of movies! And all this while I enjoy my last month in Sweden before heading back home – going to be difficult.
Mission for next month: To not over fangirl over the returning shows such as Suits and Shameless. OMG! Suits in January, what did I do to deserve this amazing treat!?
This month’s highlight: It’s not really blog related but an actor from one of my favorite TV-shows followed me on Twitter on the 31st of December. Not randomly, I might have had something to do with it but he himself gave the promise and I just gave him the final push. I’m afraid to Tweet things now! Especially about the show which will be back, sadly, in the Summer.
