Hidden Gems: James McAvoy

Barely scraped through with this month. Reason? I realised on Friday that the end of the month was approaching and I hadn’t even thought about Hidden Gems. Luckily I had the weekend off so I was able to watch all three movies in 2 days. All for James McAvoy – the charming Scottish man who I’ve always liked. Will the three unseen movies from his filmography be all worth it? We shall see.

Hidden Gems: Keira Knightley

Some of you might have noticed that there was no post on Friday, the last day of April. Even though I had it all planned out, life just chucked its challenges at me and I wasn’t able to finish watching all Keira Knightley’s movies. And you know what? I’m fine with it. Despite the fact that sticking to my own schedule is something of a goal of mine these days. Anyway, two days late but trying not to make it into a habit. Without further ado, it’s time for Keira Knightley to shine!

Hidden Gems: Audrey Hepburn

We are back again and this month we’re making Hidden Gems even more special. You see I started Hidden Gems because I wasn’t doing great with Blind Spot and I wanted something to excel at. So with my Hidden Gems challenge  going well I thought I’d push myself a little further this year and combine the two. So Hidden Gems meets Blind Spot – the almost perfect duo. And what better way to marry those two together than to explore the filmography of Audrey Hepburn!?

Hidden Gems: Tom Hardy

Going to spoil the surprise but I’ve been having a great time with Hidden Gems in 2021! The choice to go all British is giving me a lot of joy. Especially this month with Tom Hardy because I got to see two UK releases I’d missed over the years. Plus, that accent!? So delicious. While I was a little off with one of my picks I wasn’t too bummed about it. Though I guess it depends on how you look at it. Anyway, here’s to another successful Hidden Gems month!

Hidden Gems: Michael Sheen

What a way to end January of 2021. I had a stressful month but more about it later on in February. Today we are looking into our first Hidden Gems of 2021 and let me tell you… it did not disappoint! Meaning I didn’t suffer almost at all. Michael Sheen has some good movies in his filmography and I had not seen many of them. So getting to see Michael Sheen in so many various types of roles (by accident) showcased his diversity to my liking. Oh and yes, I left it all to the last minute even though I planned to be much more organised in 2021. Sometimes you can’t have it all.

Hidden Gems: Chris Evans

You knew I was going to leave Chris Evans last in this Hidden Gems adventure I had this year. Though I eventually had to squeeze two in one month, it all turned out well. The choices for December, Chris and Adam (who you read about yesterday, hopefully), were brilliant in terms of viewing pleasure. Leaving Hidden Gems with Chris Evans last was also a good decision. I ended on a relatively good note – that’s what I’m basically saying.

Hidden Gems: Adam Driver

The end is near and due to a mishap by me the end is also very fruitful. In other words, there will be two Hidden Gems posts in a row, one today and one tomorrow. Considering I also watched 24 bad Christmas movies this month my December has been one hectic sprint to the very end. But oh how it was so worth it. And when it comes to Hidden Gems Adam Driver I was enjoying myself throughout! December just became awesome.

Hidden Gems: Saoirse Ronan

Another month has past and I’m still a little behind with Hidden Gems. So while today you only get to enjoy me venturing through Saoirse Ronan’s filmography, December will bring you two Hidden Gems. I hope I can make it happen. There’s a lot of things I’ve got planned for next month and well, I might be over extending my abilities. Regardless, here is Saoirse Ronan for Hidden Gem movie challenge.

Hidden Gems: Amy Adams

New month, new Hidden Gems challenge. This month I was looking into the career of Amy Adams. An actress that has been bringing it for years but whose filmography is not very familiar to me. Leaving out her miniseries Sharp Objects which I contemplated on watching for this at one point, I crossed off three of her movies to find a hidden gem.
