This week’s theme is an exciting one because I get to talk about a few of my favourite shows. College, though less exploited than high school, is a great foundation for a show. It has a lot of possibilities, and there’s always ways to introduce new story lines and characters. Here are three shows taking place in college.
For some reason, when I think about exploring, I think about kids. Probably because children are curious and brave, and tend to go on adventures more frequently than adults. I’m not saying adults don’t explore, it’s just the concept for me is very strongly related to child like curiosity. Which is why my picks heavily feature kids.
It’s that time of the year again, where I have to shake up my brain and remember all the non-English films I have seen. Turns out, since these past few years I haven’t had the pleasure to mention them, I have a few French movies to recommend.
If you have trouble understanding the actual word a little, in this case “siege”, you probably ask Google for help. So I did, and in this case, I decided to recommend three movies I wouldn’t probably recommend otherwise. In other words, here are three films I don’t remember that much involving a siege of some sorts.
This kind of theme is so exciting! Probably because I simply like the body switch concept, and it delivers a lot of laughs when it is a comedy. So here are my three, most of them funny picks for this week.
When I saw this theme on this year’s list, I was a little nervous. Because no matter how hard I thought about it, I didn’t come up with many shows which featured spies. So I actually watched a little bit of one to make this list complete for this week. Find out what and if I will continue.
There was an idea to make this into a theme within a theme post but as I discovered, I haven’t seen many movies with bad parents. I’m sure there are some my mind has blanked on, but here are three that I could think of. And they are all different types of bad parenting.
This week’s theme is a mix of everything really. A bit of romance, a bit of comedy and then some drama. It was easy enough to pick the three movies to recommend because I haven’t seen many magical ageing movies. I bet I’ll find all these picks in other lists this week!
Almost missed this week’s post because I didn’t plan for it, and then I had two mega long work shifts yesterday and today. But, not to worry, I borrowed some sleep time and got this list on your way (with minor problems) and Thursdays are still a go! Also, even though one of the picks isn’t necessarily a sequel, it’s still a follow-up so… it counts!
I was a little worried with this week’s theme because TV spinoffs for me don’t have a very good track record. I didn’t even watch the Friends spinoff Joey because it felt wrong and unfunny. But once I realised there are good ones out there, I was on a roll. Here are four TV spinoffs that I have loved over the years.
