Today MR. Movie-Addict crossed the 5000 views mark – a quick jump for joy and let us continue with the serious stuff.
I’ve seen two new trailers this week, first up – Hanna. A young girl (14 year-old) who is taught by his father to kill a bad woman. Remember my Kick-Ass review, well I said that I found it very weird that this kind of thing is used as a plot, a girl kills people and her dad watches idly by – I didn’t like it then and I’m sure not gonna like it now. And this in mind, the list of actors in this is just insane, Saorise Ronan as Hanna (I think she was rather good in Atonement), Eric Bana as the dad (nice morals, man) and Cate Blanchett as the bad woman who Hanna is after. Disappointed, nothing else to say. Young girls killing people should be left to horror movies!, not made into plots in action movies – and that’s that!

He comes back and wants to win her heart. There you go, a romantic story that doesn’t evolve 14 year-olds breaking women’s necks! Anyway, Rachel Bilson from The OC is yet again on the big screen (I haven’t seen her since Jumper) and an unknown name for me, Tom Sturridge plays the male lead hoping to win Rachel’s heart. Oh, and he’s English but since this movie is a romantic one I’m not sure if Tom is going to save this one but I’ll give him a chance when this movie comes out in February.
